1. So what kind of RP is this?

Discontinuing, Inc (discontinuing) is a Seattle, Washington- based adult media/adult publishing company. Discontinuing creates interactive adult DVDs, XXX-rated flash games, some movies, and publishes its own adult magazine. So a little bit of everything, and not exactly all movies. Overall, it is a porn-related company.

2. Do we need to RP smut here?

Yes and no. It's not required to RP smut here, but there are different positions at the company. The actors, actresses, and "fluffers" are usually the ones who will participate in movie logs. But there are many different other positions at Discontinuing, like secretary, cameraman, art director, writer, website technician, and etceteras.

3. Can we have other jobs outside of Discontinuing, or are the only jobs allowed here are with the company?

Yes! You can be anything you want outside of the company! If you want your character to be a full-time student, waitress, barista, lawyer, and such on the side? You're free to! As long as you are somehow employed within Discontinuing at the same time, you can choose any other job you like.

If you want to choose a position for your character within the company, but want it a little different than what is listed? Discuss it with a mod! We'll work with you!

4. How do we use our character journals?

You will use your journals like you would use your personal journal: Write it in first person and interact with other characters via comments also in first person. Logs are to be written in third person, but you can write it in second-person, too, if you like!

5. Where do we post our logs?

You are to post your logs in the main community, but you are also free to post them in the OOC community. Feel free to share your logs with us! We'd love to read them!

But all NC-17 logs are to be friends-locked by default.

6. Is there a specific log format we should use? Or is anything okay?

Not really. Logs come in different shapes and forms. You can write a log in script format in third person, a phone conversation in first person, use of asterisks to display action, and so on.

7. I'm having a conflict with another player! What do I do?

Please alert any kind of discomfort with the mods. No matter how big or small it is, we want you to feel comfortable and welcomed here. Tell us anything that is bothering you. We are here to help you out and have fun!

8. Even though this is AU, are we still required to be in character?

Yes. Despite this community not being themed in ninja-verse, you still must play your character in IC. Understanding the personality of your character is very important, but try to be as IC as possible. Of course, there are characters in Naruto that have little to no plotline development or backgrounds. This is where you have the liberty to create a believable and realistic background for your character. If you have problems figuring out your background, then discuss it with the mods!

10. I do not like how someone is doing their character. Who do I speak to about this?

Noone. Sure, proper characterization is important to a lot of people. But everyone who has been accepted into the community has been accepted by the mods for a reason. Not only for their ability to write, but their creativity, their understanding of the character they portray, and individuality. Please respect how others do their characters, since not everyone plays certain characters the same way.

Rules are annoying, but sometimes they are needed. So here's a few very basic ones, and this will be added onto in the future:

1. You must be 17 or older in order to join this community. We have researched international law, and seventeen has popped up as the most common legal age, so seventeen and above is the core age community requirement.

2. Naruto characters only! The only characters allowed here are from the anime and manga Naruto. Original characters (OC's) are not allowed for the exceptions of "Naruko" and "Sasuko," and all tailed beasts are allowed here (such as Kyuubi, Shuukaku, and etceteras).

3. Godmodding is not permitted in any way or form here. For more info on godmodding, refer to this site.

4. Do not take OOC issues with another player (or players) into IC. If you are having a serious conflict with another player, please do anything you can to rectify the situation in private as soon as possible. Or, if you think you can't remedy the situation alone and would like the assistance of a mod, please get into contact with either of the mods and we can help you out with your conflict together the best we can!

Also, it is not good player etiquette to take the OOC issue with another and incorporate it into the community storyline. You will be warned and possibly disciplined if this happens.

5. Be polite, please. Do not harass other players in IC or OOC.

6. All players have a two (2) character limit. If you wish to apply for a third character, it will only be labeled as an NPC (Non-player character). To apply for an NPC, you must use the official application template and e-mail it to either one of the mods.

7. Post at least once every two weeks. Show us you're active and help keep the game alive! We will do periodic activity checks at the end of each month, and we will determine character activity by their posting quota.

8. Character pregnancy/Male pregnancy (or MPREG) is not allowed.
